Grape Varieties
Today, Andreou Winery cultivates selected indigenous Greek and international grape varieties that thrive in the unique terroir of the Peloponnese and the volcanic soils of Methana, authentically expressing the character of modern Greek wine.
Among the white varieties, the aromatic Moschofilero, the expressive Roditis Alepou and the traditional Savatiano produce wines with freshness, elegance and vibrant acidity ideal for a refined white wine tasting experience.
Among the red varieties, the noble Agiorgitiko and the internationally renowned Syrah create wines with rich aromatic intensity, balanced structure and aging potential, showcasing the depth and quality of Greek red wine.
Selected blends of Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero and Syrah are also crafted into expressive rosé wines, combining freshness with aromatic complexity and a modern Mediterranean character.
Through careful vineyard cultivation and deep respect for the vine, Andreou Winery produces wines that truly reflect their origin, offering visitors an authentic wine tasting in the Peloponnese along with the opportunity to purchase distinctive bottles directly from the boutique winery near Poros.
